Born in Palermo on January 15, 1943, Giovanni Mascellaro is an Italian artist (singer, musician, poet and painter). Aged only 16 he won an important musical contest at Mondello (Palermo) named the "Capannina d'oro" as a song sing writer, thus starting his career.
He graduated with honors from the University of Palermo, Faculty of Economics,and he has worked for over thirty years as a bank officer.
Barely aged 44, he achieved in 1987 the position of deputy general manager of an important bank in Sicily.
As a marketing expert, he published in 1976 "Il marketing nell'azienda bancaria", traceable at the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale in Florence and Biblioteca della Regione Siciliana.He is a chartered interpreter (English and French) with the Civil and Penal Court of Palermo, Italy.
He is also a well known astrologer (Member of AFA - American Federation of Astrologers and Founder of The Italian Center of Astrology for Sicily). He is a mentalist and a connoisseur of esotericism.
Fond of holistic medecine, he is a homeopathic advisor.

He is also a well known photographer (over 100 photos appearing in Panoramio and Google Earth).
